The International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) is the largest and most notorious Jiu-Jitsu organization in the world. They operate internationally and their NOGI Worlds tournament decides their world champion in each division.
Chris became world Champion in the Brownbelt Masters 1 heavyweight NOGI division
Masters 1 is an age category for people 30-35
Heavyweight defines the weight class as up to 203lbs
NOGI division require the athletes to wear a rash guard and fight shorts. This makes it very different than competing in the GI where you have clothes to grab and there is a lot more friction
Fueling/ Event Recap
Leading up to the event I was loading with Race Day Boost. About a half hour before my warm up I took Anti-Fatigue Caps and began drinking an Endurolytes Fizz® mix of 1 tablet in 1 liter of warm water. I began my warm up and continued sipping Endurolytes® as needed. I weighed in and shortly after had my first match. I won 3-0 and moved on. After my first match and about 10 minutes before my second I took an Energy Surge capsule under my tongue and began to move and get loose. I finished my second match which was a drag out war with me coming back from a 4 point deficit in the final minute and a half and winning by submission with a 5 point lead. I prepared for my third match with another Energy Surge capsule. I had gone through a liter of Endurolytes Fizz® mix and made a second batch. I continued sipping Endurolytes® as needed. I finished my third match feeling good winning 10-0 and was on to the finals. I took another Energy Surge capsule as I began warming up. I had great energy and won the finals convincingly with another dominant 10-0 performance. My post tournament product use consisted of my regular stack of Premium Insurance Caps, Race Caps Supreme, PSA Caps, Mito Caps and well as double my regular dosage of Tissue Rejuvenator and Hammer CBD Broad Spectrum Water Soluble Tincture
