Ingredient Breakdown:
Coconut Oil - A potent antibacterial which soothes irritated skin.It moisturizes, hydrates and softens skin, can strengthen the skin’s barrier, contains vitamin E. Is a Saturated fat high in MCTS. MCTS are medium-chain triglycerides, a type of saturated fat found in coconut and palm kernel oil.
Beeswax - Is non-comedogenic,passes through pores, has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits, moisturizes, creates a protective barrier and is rich in Vitamin A which is well known for improving skin and making skin supple.
Castor Seed Oil - Has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, is rich in ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid known for its moisturizing properties, high in antioxidants, lessens wrinkles and may reduce peeling.
Olive Oil - Rich in vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids; olive oil can reduce environmental damage, and reduce signs of aging. It effectively hydrates dry skin by trapping moisture due to its fatty acid content. May not be good for sensitive skin.
Cetyl Alcohol - Is a fatty alcohol that can benefit the skin by protecting the skin barrier and preventing water loss. It may soften skin and shield the skin from allergens and bacteria. It is useful in binding ingredients and preventing them from separating.
Aloe Vera Oil - It is effective in treating dry skin, reducing redness with antibacterial and antiseptic properties by being a strong moisturizer.
JoJoba Oil - Jojoba oil can effectively lock in moisture and soothe irritated skin. It contains Vitamin E, giving it antioxidant protection and is non-comedogenic, passes through pores.
Vitamin E - is a humectant and emollient which helps skin absorb and retain water, it can help protect skin from sun damage, soothes chapped lips and protects skin by fighting free radicals with antioxidants.
