What sport do/did you compete in? And why are you passionate about it?
Mainly ultra-running but love all distance 5k and up. Started running to be a better surfer. Wasn't ever that good but caught the running bug and been charging ever since.
How long have you been Hammering?
Probably early 2000s. I remember when the gels were hammer-shaped.

Why do you continue to partner with Hammer to fuel your events?
It's an excellent experience every time I call over there. You are incredibly knowledgeable about products and don't try to sell them. I like how the product sells itself. Also, all social media doesn't push any kinds of current agendas. I'm glad you all stick to endurance sports!
Favorite memory as a Race Director?
My boys, 8 & 12, have grown up around this race. Azalea Races started in 2014. They help with everything during the race, and this year, they ran a bunch of miles during the event.
