Direct from our manufacturer: "The 'grit' in Pelle Eccellent and Seat Saver that some customers notice is due to exposure to cold temperatures during shipping (or in vehicles, etc.). It is the waxes trying to reform to their natural state. It does not affect the quality of the product in any way. Without adding chemical preservatives, there's always the possibility of any natural product to go through slight changes such as this."
Note: None of the Hammer Nutrition body care products will ever contain chemical preservatives.
