The older you get, the more you need this product! Don’t delay!
BY BRIAN FRANK & STEVE BORN
Collagen is frequently referred to as the “glue that holds us together,” which is not really an exaggeration, as collagen accounts for roughly one-third of your body’s protein, providing support, strength, and structure to skin, muscles, bones, connective tissue, arteries, intestinal lining, and more.
According to the Arthritis Foundation, “Your body makes collagen when it breaks down the protein you eat into amino acids. The problem is that the process slows with age.” The sobering truth: Our body’s collagen supply naturally starts to decrease as we reach our mid-to-late 20’s, diminishing at about 1% (or more) annually. [1] That’s precisely why we believe that supplementing with Hammer Collagen isn’t just a good idea, it’s a necessity! Additionally, taking Tissue Rejuvenator / Vegan Tissue Rejuvenator and Endurance C along with Hammer Collagen will maximize benefits even more.
THE HAMMER COLLAGEN FORMULA
Type I Collagen (from bovine hides and fish scales/hides) – This is the most abundant type of collagen in the body, making up approximately 90% of all the collagen in the body, and it’s also the most abundant protein in the body, making up about 30% of total protein content [2]. Type I collagen is typically found in the bones, connective tissues, skin, and tendons, and plays a significant functional role in maintaining/improving the strength and integrity of bones, connective tissues, and skin. Additionally, Type I collagen also plays a role in maintaining healthy hair and nails.
Type III Collagen (from bovine hides) – Type III collagen is the second most abundant collagen type in the body [3]. It is a major component in areas like skin, blood vessels, arteries, intestinal walls and lungs. Type III collagen supports skin elasticity and firmness, helping reduce wrinkles and fine lines. It helps alleviate joint aches and stiffness and supports overall cartilage and joint health. Type III collagen provides structural support to blood vessels, as well as the integrity of the gut lining, and it is a vital structural protein in the lungs.
Hammer Collagen:
- Helps improve skin well-being
- Supports optimal strength and structural integrity
- Outstanding for the heart and arteries
ENHANCE THE BENEFITS!
Taking Hammer Collagen along with Tissue Rejuvenator and/or Vegan Tissue Rejuvenator supports joint health in a complementary fashion.
- Tissue Rejuvenator contains glucosamine sulfate, chrondroitin sulfate, MSM, and Type II collagen.
- Vegan Tissue Rejuvenator contains glucosamine sulfate, MSM, horsetail leaf, and hyaluronic acid.
All of these nutrients, along with the Type I collagen and Type III collagen in Hammer Collagen, work together in optimizing the health and function of joints, ligaments, cartilage, and tendons.
HOT TIP! Taking 2 capsules each of Tissue Rejuvenator and Vegan Tissue Rejuvenator once or twice daily supplies your body with a wider range of joint-health nutrients than either product on its own.
While the evidence on vitamin C enhancing the effectiveness of collagen supplements is mixed, taking Endurance C—with its multiple sources of vitamin C and complementary nutrients—is still a wise strategy to employ. This is because vitamin C is vital in the bodily production of collagen, and without this vitamin the body can’t form collagen. Research shows that "the presence of Vitamin C directly triggers DNA to regulate and maintain the intercellular amount of collagen.” [4]

As a 70 year old runner, I’m thinking that I need to supplement with collagen, as I have some tendon issues going on. My question is, what is the best time to take it: pre-run, post-run, rest days, etc.?

Hi Jeff, thank you for your comment and question. Daily use is most important- post run/workout is best, can be taken alone or with food on non-workout days. Tissue Rejuvenator would also be a good idea if you are not already taking that. BDF
