Hammer Creation Story
"Hello, my name is Victor Sheldon aka "The Slasher", I have been a Hammer athlete since 2012. My first experience with Hammer was when I started racing mountain bikes in 2013. Learning about proper fueling for a masters racer at the age of 45 (at the time) was a huge learning curve. Thank god Hammer Nutrition has the best customer service and getting great tips from the boss aka Brian Frank helped tremendously. Nonetheless, for an athlete who has a full time job and trying to compete at a high level you need to refuel with all the Hammer Nutrition products! They're easy on your stomach, free of nasty ingredients (aka sugar), and have so many options for staying properly fueled. I've been hooked on Hammer products since 2013 and haven’t used anything but Hammer. I especially like HEED and Recoverite, ever since the first taste. Thank you, Hammer, and I'm lucky to be a part of the family. Im really excited to share that I just finished racing the Dowieville Classic and I was able to win the XC and DH for the overall. A taxing race like DownieVille, I couldn't do it without Hammer!"

Victor also runs a MTB series, Quick n’ Dirty, which is a nationally recognized grass-roots, mountain bike race series with events year round and all throughout San Diego County. Their diverse racing calendar consists of several one day feature events and mid-week racing.
