Ultra Running - Hammering Since: 2020
Hi, my name is Aidan Jarvis. I'm 19 years old, and I've been using Hammer products consistently since 2020. My first time using Hammer products was for my first ever ultra, a 50-miler I completed in 2020. I grew up running cross-country and track and field in Montana. I now attend college in Helena, MT. I ran on the cross-country and track team here during my freshman year but quit the team in 2022 to pursue my own trail running goals. Training completely independently for the past year without the support of coaches and teammates has been challenging but also very rewarding. I get to do more of what I love in the places I love, and I get to control my own training, which has led to less injury. I've had lots of issues in the past with staying hydrated on long days out in the mountains. Hammer Nutrition's owner, Brian Frank, was extremely helpful with diagnosing the problem and recommending solutions for me. I've been a huge fan of Endurolytes as they've helped me understand the importance of maintaining good electrolyte intake during long bouts of exercise like mountain running.
