Another cornerstone of the Hammer Masters team, Dirk Himley boasts a racing résumé that spans decades—from the 1980 Junior National Team alongside legends like Andy Hampsten and Gavin Chilcott, to dominating Northern California masters racing in recent years.
Known for his powerful solo efforts, Himley has an impressive record of wire-to-wire victories, including Battenkill (solo win by 9 minutes), Snelling, Dunnigan Hills, and San Ardo, often breaking away from the start and never looking back. His racing intelligence and experience make him both a formidable competitor and an invaluable teammate.
In 2025, Himley continued to excel, winning Berkeley Hills Road Race and contributing to the team’s success at major national and regional events.
