Physician, Professor, and Podium Finisher
Balancing medicine and elite competition, Dr. Brian White is the epitome of discipline and excellence. A specialist in interventional pain management, White serves as Chief of the Interventional Pain Division at Bassett Healthcare Network, is an Associate Professor at Columbia University, and teaches internationally with the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS).
In 2025, riding for Hammer Masters, White competed in 24 races, earning 4 wins, 10 podiums, and 18 top-ten finishes, including a bronze medal at the U.S. Masters National Championships. His season highlights include victories at the Tour of the Catskills, Hamburg Road Race, and Lime Rock Grand Prix.
A former professional Category 1 cyclist, White’s palmarès include Olympic Trials appearances (1992, 1996), national podiums, and international competition with the U.S. National Team in the Tour of Venezuela and Tour of Panama. After a 22-year hiatus, he returned to racing in 2023 and immediately reclaimed his position among the sport’s elite.
