EnduroZyme

Complete digestion, optimal nutrient absorption

BY STEVE BORN

Many nutritional experts agree that healthy digestion is key to overall health because it allows us to access all the nutrients in the food we eat. Unfortunately, the typical American diet contains a high volume of enzyme-devoid processed foods. Cooking also destroys the enzymes that naturally occur in food.

Proper digestion of the food we eat most definitely affects microbiome health. In fact, the headline of one study clearly states, “Undigested Food and Gut Microbiota May Cooperate in the Pathogenesis of Neuroinflammatory Diseases.” A portion of this study’s conclusion: “The route to disease involves the participation of both the microbiota and undigested food fragments.”

Many nutritional experts agree that healthy digestion is key to overall health because it allows us to access all of the nutrients in the food we eat, while positively influencing nearly aspect of human health. That’s why while the quality of the food you eat is undeniably important, making sure you’re efficiently digesting your food and absorbing the nutrients it contains is equally important. That’s where enzymes come in; they’re powerful catalysts that help maintain efficient digestion and maximize nutrient absorption.

Unfortunately, the typical American diet contains a high volume of enzyme-devoid processed foods. Cooking also destroys the enzymes that naturally occur in food. Add to that the natural age-related decrease in bodily enzyme production, and it’s no wonder that so many people are dealing with numerous health issues, particularly GI health.

Well-known digestive health expert, Dr. Lane Lenard, states, “Many of the health complaints that plague aging adults—from impaired immunity to digestive distress and nutritional deficiencies—can be traced to a key underlying factor: poor digestive health. One common cause of impaired digestive health is an age-related decline in the digestive enzymes needed to extract essential nutrients from the foods we eat. Without these crucial enzymes, food passes through the gastrointestinal tract without yielding its beneficial constituents. The result is poor nutritional status, which can contribute to numerous disease processes.”

To help resolve this problem, a digestive enzyme supplement—one that contains multiple enzymes to break down and digest a variety of foods and food substances—is a vital necessity. Hammer Nutrition’s EnduroZyme is that supplement, supplying not only an impressive 14 different types of non-animal enzymes, but effective amounts of each of these enzymes. In addition, EnduroZyme’s Whole Leaf Blend--peppermint leaf, aloe vera leaf, and artichoke leaf—provides numerous benefits for many aspects of gastrointestinal health. Lastly, EnduroZyme contains Bioperine™, a standardized black pepper extract that enhances the absorption of whole food and dietary supplements.

Bottom Line: Regardless of your food choice, you must break it down to put it to use. EnduroZyme does the job. By ensuring full breakdown of your food, you’ll experience immediate improvements in your digestion. With consistent use, you’ll feel steady improvement in your health, energy level, and athletic outputs, as your body accesses nutrients better.

Hi Ricardo –

The ingredients for Endurozyme are listed below. This list is also accessible at the INGREDIENT BREAKDOWN link on the EnduroZyme web page (https://hammernutrition.com/collections/supplements/products/endurozyme?variant=42811323711723), and the Supplement Facts can be found at the NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION link on the same page. Please note that the formula is proprietary from the manufacturer, which is why we do not have specific amounts for each enzyme listed.

* Protease – Breaks down proteins into smaller polypeptide fragments (chains of amino acids) and amino acids.

* Amylase – Breaks down starchy carbohydrates (rice, pasta, potatoes, beans, bananas, etc.) and glycogen, the starch-like fuel stored in the muscles and liver.

* HemiCellulase – Breaks down a specific form of cellulose called hemicellulose.

* Cellulase – Breaks down cellulose, a type of fiber and major component in cell walls, the fibrous complex surrounding plant cells.

* Maltase – Breaks down maltose to glucose. When starchy foods (rice, pasta, potatoes, beans, bananas, etc.) are consumed, the starch is converted by saliva and amylase enzymes to maltose, which is then broken down to glucose by maltase.

* Glucoamylase – Another form of amylase that breaks down starchy carbohydrates (rice, pasta, potatoes, beans, bananas, etc.) in a specific way, removing free glucose molecules from the end of the starchy chains rather than simply breaking these longer chains into smaller chains.

* Bromelain – Derived from pineapple, bromelain breaks down proteins into smaller polypeptide fragments (chains of amino acids) and amino acids.

* Papain – Derived from papaya, papain breaks down proteins into smaller polypeptide fragments (chains of amino acids) and amino acids.

* Catalase – Breaks hydrogen peroxide down into water and oxygen.

* Acid Stable Protease – Breaks down proteins into smaller polypeptide fragments (chains of amino acids) and amino acids.

* Lipase – Breaks down fats and triglycerides.

* Invertase – Breaks down sucrose (table sugar) into its component sugars, glucose and fructose.

* Lactase – Converts lactose (milk sugar) into its component sugars, glucose & galactose.

* Alpha Galactosidase – Helps to break down and digest legumes (beans, peas), cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, etc.).

* Bioperine™ – A trademarked standardized extract from the fruit of Piper nigrum (black pepper) or Piper longum (long pepper)

* EnduroZyme Whole Leaf Blend – Peppermint Leaf, Aloe Vera Leaf, and Artichoke leaf.

Sincerely -

Steve

Does this take the place of the digest caps you previously sold?

Hi David -

While both products seem similar, they’re actually quite different, and neither replaces the other.

Digest Caps is a probiotic (“healthy bacteria”) supplement that supports gastrointestinal (GI) health by colonizing the GI tract with ”good” bacteria, such as acidophilus and bifidobacterium. Many things can disrupt GI health and function, including poor diet, stress, antibiotic use, and more, which can lead to a number of discomforts while increasing the potential for sickness. Taken daily, Digest Caps tips the scales in favor of “the good guys” to help optimize gut health and all the benefits that are to be enjoyed with a healthy and properly functioning GI tract.

EnduroZyme is a digestive enzyme supplement that helps break down the foods we eat so that they can be more-easily absorbed and utilized by the body. This allows us to get the full value out of the vitamins, minerals, and naturally occurring and health-benefiting phytonutrients in food. The typical American diet contains a high volume of enzyme-devoid processed foods. Cooking also destroys the enzymes that naturally occur in food. Add to that the natural age-related decrease in bodily enzyme production, and it’s clear that taking EnduroZyme—a full-spectrum digestive enzyme supplement—prior to or during a meal is a necessity.

Though Digest Caps and EnduroZyme are different products, both play important roles in dynamically and positively influencing GI and digestive system health… they’re an outstanding combination!

I hope this helps!
