Four-time Rolex 24 winner Colin Braun has been a Hammer athlete since 2017. Actually beginning as a customer buying online for a few years, then eventually becoming an ambassador! When racing in extreme heat and participating in grueling 24-hour endurance events, staying sharp and physically resilient is crucial, and that begins with proper nutrition and hydration. Colin has built a standout career competing in multiple motorsports disciplines, including sports cars, stock cars, and IndyCar. A Texas native raised in a motorsports family, he began racing at the age of three and made his debut in the Rolex 24 at just 16. By 17, he became the youngest driver to race in the Prototype class, and at 18, earned a podium finish at the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans. Colin raced in NASCAR with RFK Racing, collecting wins and Rookie-of-the-Year honors before returning to sports cars, where he's earned victories at the 12 Hours of Sebring, Six Hours of Watkins Glen, Petit Le Mans, Spa 24 Hours, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His accolades also include back-to-back championships in IMSA PC competition (2014 and 2015) as well as earning the 2022 LMP3 championship with CORE autosport. In 2023, Colin drove for CrowdStrike Racing, where they earned the GT World Challenge America Pro-Am championship and went on to capture the 2024 Asian Le Mans Series Championship. The 2024 season also marked Colin's first career IndyCar start. Amid his success, Colin was invited by Ford to pilot a Prototype around the Daytona International Speedway oval, resulting in the fastest lap ever recorded at Daytona (222.971 mph), breaking Bill Elliott's old record. He also claimed the fastest FIA world record 10-kilometer lap (203.010 mph) and the fastest FIA world record 10-mile lap (210.017 mph), both achieved at a standing start.
Colin made his debut with Meyer Shank Racing and Acura in 2023, garnering the overall Rolex 24 win and finishing second in the championship. Colin returns to Acura Meyer Shank Racing in 2025, reuniting with Tom Blomqvist to contend in IMSA's GTP class, continuing a legacy defined by speed, versatility, and victory.
