Next year, 2017, will mark the 30th anniversary for Hammer Nutrition. Wow, that's a long time! It has been an amazing ride so far and we don't see the end in sight. There's still so much to do, more athletes to support, and so many more innovations to make. Thank you for being along for the ride!
For three decades now, Hammer Nutrition has lead the pack in sports nutrition, pioneering our researched-based fueling philosophies. One of our revolutionary ideas was our "Less is Best" approach, a position formed in response to the mainstream "replace what you lose" methodology that has now been outgrown. Our position on salt also went against the norm and we won't stop educating until there are no more athletes being misled by the "high sodium" crowd. Hammer Nutrition's stance on the dangers of simple sugars has also set us apart from the market place. Many of these principles are now becoming commonplace; but let us assure you that back in the day they were radically different ideas. That old saying about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery is brought to mind here.
For January, our blog posts will focus on healthy resolutions to start your year out strong. Fundamentals are key. Whether you're incorporating more protein into your diet, learning the "Three R's" to recover right, or really going back to basics by resolving to eat breakfast, Hammer Nutrition is here with a wealth of information to help you achieve your goals, for athletes at every level, for every sport, year round.
