Filipe Albuquerque is a Portuguese professional racing driver born on June 13, 1985, in Coimbra, Portugal. Competing in grueling multi-hour endurance events across multiple continents demands extraordinary physical and mental resilience — and that begins with proper nutrition and hydration. Filipe began his motorsport journey in karting in 1993 , earning two national titles before advancing to single-seater racing with Red Bull support. In 2006, he clinched both the Formula Renault Eurocup and Northern European Cup championships, earning the Red Bull Junior Driver of the Year award. He later made his mark in the Race of Champions, defeating Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel and multiple World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb to claim the 2010 Champion of Champions title.

Transitioning to endurance racing with Audi Sport, Filipe built one of the most decorated prototype careers in the sport. He has won the 24 Hours of Daytona three times (2013, 2018, and 2021), claimed the LMP2 class victory at the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans, and in that same season swept both the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series LMP2 titles. He currently competes in the IMSA SportsCar Championship with Wayne Taylor Racing in a Cadillac V-Series.R , continuing a career defined by speed, versatility, and victory at the highest level of endurance racing.
