How to Use

This one made a noticeable difference

My doctor seemed to think that 1-2 times a week bowl movements are just my norm. Having advanced RA and OA (as well as other joint and spine issues) and taking a high dose of NSAIDs for years I was told that it may be part of my issues? Started using other Hammer Nutrition products and weaned myself off the NSAIDs (&Flexural) and also decided to try Digest caps and wow, they have helped me get me going 2-3x daily. Also feel better!

Would you take the digest cap with a magnesium supplement?

Hello Deb, you certainly could. Most people are deficient in magnesium, so taking Essential MG, 1-2 capsules daily is likely a good idea. The Digest Caps are probiotics that can be taken with meals. Probiotic deficiency is also common for people over 40 and those who have recently taken antibiotics, NSAID's or other things that would tend to reduce levels of the "good guys" in our gut. BDF

Hello Thomas, thanks for your question; we've had to move away from CFU's but our previously stated per serving dosage was 4.5 Billion (2 capsules). Please give us call if you'd like to know more!

When is the best time to take Digest Capsules? morning or evening and before or after meals?

While it's perfectly acceptable to take Digest Caps any time during the day--with or without food--a number of people prefer to take it away from food, oftentimes doing this first thing in the morning or just prior to bed. While there is no ""science"" that we are aware of regarding this practice, the rationale for taking the product on an empty stomach is that there is no interference from food, which may permit the healthy bacteria to colonize the GI tract more efficiently and effectively.
