Can I use this device for rehab or other medical purposes?

The Compex is designed to be used by healthy individuals to complement their training in the sport they participate in. It is not designed to be used as a rehabilitation device. With that said, if you are recovering from an injury such as a broken bone or a surgery, your Compex can certainly be used to assist with recovery from your workouts and rehabilitation work, and to help rebuild muscle strength. This can only be done once you have been approved by your physician to begin rehabilitation work. Use Active Recovery at low intensities to promote blood flow to a healing area, or use the Resistance program at low intensities to help rebuild strength in recovering muscles. Always err on the side of caution when selecting intensities to avoid making the injury worse.
